Word for 2023, obviously optimism lurks somewhere inside me, or am I trying to hide in plain sight. Could just be a simple response to a prompt I’m not that keen on.

And so 2023 begins. Serious attempt this year to keep it monochrome. First prompt of the year is hello, an excuse for a selfie.
Not feeling great at the time tbh, mental health could be better and part of the treatment is to keep to routines and maintain things that in better times I enjoy.
Anyway the visuals of this Hello for 2023 have there origins in the amount of a person that is hidden from public display. We’re all like icebergs with a hell of a lot that goes on beyond sight! That and it’s a very superficial hello to 2023.
Clearly prepared carefully for it with a far from clean cut image! But what the heck! Hopefully 2023 will be better than 2022 a year that has brought some joy along with a hell of a lot of pain.

Supposedly the most important meal of the day. For me today it was an early trip to Wigan pre-work and a chance for a brew at Kawa’s. A reasonable coffee bar opposite Wallgate. No music uploads for the day.
